Member


Armando Benincasa concentrates his practice in the areas of energy law, environmental law, environmental litigation, administrative law, government affairs and lobbying. His practice consists of cases involving permitting and regulatory requirements for solid waste, water resources, underground storage tanks, and voluntary remediation, and the drafting of rules and statutes related to the environment.  He has extensive experience in governmental matters, as well as representing various energy companies before state agencies and the West Virginia Legislature.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Represented land developer before administrative boards in securing ground water discharge permit
  • Represented municipal entities challenging draft storm water permit requirements
  • Represented entity and gained delisting of certain property from CERCLA's National Priority List
