He has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has argued cases before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and several of the Florida intermediate appellate courts.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Represented a doctor at trial against claims brought by five patients alleging sexual impropriety and inappropriate treatment.
  • Represented a national nursing home chain at trial in a wrongful death action involving a 38-year old individual suffering from multiple sclerosis. Punitive damages were sought based on alleged understaffing and other issues.
  • Represented a national trucking company at trial in a case where its driver tipped his tractor trailer onto a car crushing it and trapping one of the occupants in the vehicle. Punitive damages were claimed based on spoilation of evidence and alleged improper industry practices.
  • Represented a national nursing home chain at trial in a wrongful death action involving death of resident from ureosepsis. Punitive damages sought for alleged understaffing, false documentation and other issues.
