Eric Lycan maintains a vibrant regulatory, campaign finance and election law practice, helping individuals and businesses to make their voices heard by policymakers. He also brings to his clients a wealth of experience in complex litigation, business and public policy issues.  He practices in all state and federal courts in Kentucky, as well as before a number of state and federal administrative agencies.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Advises regional industries on political advocacy compliance, including independent speech, formation of PACs and Super PACS, 501(c)(4)s and other entities
  • Represented business trade organization in obtaining advisory opinion that Kentucky’s restriction on independent corporate political speech was unconstitutional
  • Represented party Congressional campaign in recanvass of 2010 election
  • Represented state government entity in its civil claims against unregulated offshore internet gambling operations
  • Served as Administrative Law Judge for the Kentucky Parole Board
