Evans "Buddy" King concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, banking, workouts, and commercial litigation. Mr. King's experience includes serving as lead counsel in numerous mergers and acquisitions and commercial lending transactions. He serves as General Counsel to the firm, as well as on several of its major committees.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Serve as general counsel for a newspaper publisher, having handled roughly 20 newspaper acquisitions
  • Represented the majority owner of a major league baseball franchise in various aspects of the ownership interest
  • Represented a government contracting business in the sale of the company
  • Handled purchases and sales of small and family owned businesses as well as representing many banks in lending transactions and workouts
  • Represent numerous banks, including Fortune 500 corporations, in lending transactions and workouts
