Jack Merinar’s practice combines employer counseling, traditional labor law matters, and employment litigation.  Mr. Merinar also defends resorts in personal injury civil actions. He is the leader of the firm’s NLRA team.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Engaged in collective bargaining on behalf of employers where, among other things, considerable focus was placed on the question of how to allocate the costs of health care between employers and employees
  • Regularly defends West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania resorts in many types of personal injury litigation, including premises liability, dram shop, and recreational accident claims
  • Guided West Virginia hotel and Pennsylvania resort through response to union organizing efforts
  • Regularly counsel Maryland and Pennsylvania resorts regarding personnel issues
  • Regularly draft contracts for and advise Pennsylvania resorts regarding business and commercial issues
