Jack Merinar’s practice combines employer counseling, traditional labor law matters, and employment litigation. Mr. Merinar also defends ski areas in personal injury civil actions. He is the leader of the firm’s NLRA team.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Engaged in difficult collective bargaining on behalf of employers where, among other things, considerable focus was placed on the question of how to allocate the costs of health care between employers and employees
  • Assisted construction industry contractors with picketing issues
  • Advised health care clients regarding discipline of employees who failed to comply with reporting requirements
  • Represented employer in jury trial in which the plaintiff alleged that his termination was unlawful due to disability discrimination
  • Sought summary judgment for a ski resort in three recent liability cases
