REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Lead counsel to manufacturer in putative class action alleging product defects; plaintiff withdrew class allegations and dismissed action against manufacturer following certification discovery
  • Trial counsel to national nursing home chain in contested proceeding to obtain administrative approval of sale of private equity; favorable decision helped allow transaction to close
  • Counsel to major loan servicer in statewide consumer class action; appellate court rejected class efforts to impose new obligations on creditors and trustees, and established new syllabus points confirming creditors' rights in non-judicial foreclosures
  • Lead trial counsel to interstate pipeline company in complex contractual disputes with system co-owner; agency awarded injunctive relief and ordered refunds
  • Lead counsel to lender in complicated commercial collection matter; lender received significant recovery following summary judgment ruling and post-judgment enforcement action
