Mike Hensley concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate/natural resources (coal, oil, and gas), commercial transactions, commercial litigation, and government relations.
Before entering law school, Mr. Hensley served as a special assistant in the Elections Division in the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office, where he assisted in advising candidates, elected officials, political committees, and the general public on election procedures and laws. During law school, Mr. Hensley interned in the West Virginia Attorney General’s office and the West Virginia University General Counsel’s Office, assisting their staff with employee grievances, real property and contract issues, and higher education policy matters.
