Pat Deem focuses his practice in the areas of real estate and minerals, commercial transactions, and business organizations. Mr. Deem's experience includes significant involvement in mergers, acquisitions, and all aspects of financing.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Assisted Fortune 500 company in connection with the drilling of several hundred wells for the exploration and development of oil and gas in the U.S. Appalachian Basin
  • Assisted gas production company in the sale of oil and gas properties
  • Assisted oil and gas company and its domestic and international partners in all phases of the acquisition of mineral properties (in excess of 10,000 acres) for the development of a new underground coal mining operation
  • Assisted title insurance company and its clients in the closing of numerous commercial transactions involving properties situate in West Virginia having an aggregate value in excess of $30,000,000.00
  • Represented international entity in the purchase of an equity interest in a U.S. coal mining company and in the subsequent IPO of the coal mining company
