Bob Pollitt concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental law, focusing on compliance, regulatory and litigation matters. He represents clients in civil, environmental and toxic tort litigation and administrative regulatory matters, business transactions focusing on environmental issues. He practices before the state and federal trial courts and the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and various federal appellate courts.
Mr. Pollitt has represented government agencies, mining companies, construction companies and various other businesses in permitting and administrative and civil enforcement actions in the fields of mining, water resources, solid waste, hazardous waste, medical waste, underground storage tanks, and sanitation issues. Mr. Pollitt has also represented insurance companies and insureds in environmental insurance litigation issues. Mr. Pollitt also represented clients in condemnation, encroachment and injunction actions.
