Tom Vorbach has over 30 years of practice experience in the areas of taxation, commercial transactions, and real estate, as well as estate planning, estate and trust administration, and charitable organizations. Mr. Vorbach is the leader of the firm’s Technology Advancement Group (TAG).

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Represented large non-profit corporation in dissolution including the transfer of significant assets and the transition of government contracts to another non-profit
  • Successfully represented clients before the IRS to abate significant penalties created by the action/inaction of an accountant and assisted litigators with bringing legal suit against accountant
  • Upon receiving news of a terrible accident involving a client on a Friday afternoon, prepared estate planning documents and delivered them to the client at the emergency care unit an hour away on Saturday for execution prior to emergency surgery (footnote: client is alive)
  • Represented shareholder in closely held land holding corporation in dispute with other shareholder which resulted in very favorable settlement for client including transfer of cash, real estate and interest in royalties
