Ghislaine Torres Bruner focuses her practice in litigating cases relating to energy, environmental and natural resources, air quality, water quality, negligence, and appellate matters. She represents oil and gas operators before agencies, commissions, and local governments in land use matters including permitting, siting, and enforcement. She also handles transactional matters for energy and business clients. She is a native Spanish speaker and uses her bilingual ability to represent clients in both domestic and international matters involving transactions or litigation. Ms. Bruner serves as a Vice-Chair for Programs the American Bar Association Section for Energy, Environment and Resources Air Quality Committee.
Ms. Bruner spent over two years as Vice President and Corporate Counsel of GeoSands Energy Advisors LLC where she oversaw all legal matters for the company’s domestic and foreign transactions.
Prior to moving to Colorado, Ms. Bruner practiced in South Florida where she defended negligence claims on behalf of physicians, dentists, hospitals, nursing homes and other professionals. She also represented companies involving premise liability, product liability and admiralty cases and worked closely with in-house counsel to provide legal advice on quality assurance, quality improvements, environmental and risk mitigation strategies. She has also represented international clients in real estate, general business litigation, and transactional matters.
