Thomas Aman teaches Community Development Finance Course

A comprehensive program designed to meet the increasing challenges facing community developers in today?s marketplace has added Steptoe & Johnson attorney Tom Aman to the course of instructors presenting at its May seminar.

Aman will be teaching the Community Development Finance course to second-year students of the program. The Community Development Institute, or CDI East, is an affiliate program of West Virginia University. The curriculum consists of three one-week long training seminars that offer all-inclusive classes of professional knowledge and skills in grassroots economic development and capacity building.

At Steptoe & Johnson, Aman frequently assists community developers on economic development projects and concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial transactions, real estate, public finance, and municipal bonds. Aman is an alumnus of West Virginia University, earning a bachelor of science and a doctor of jurisprudence.
