First Steptoe & Johnson attorney to gain admission
MEADVILLE, PA – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to announce that Glenn A.W. Thompson, Of Counsel, has been sworn in as a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota. Thompson becomes the first Steptoe & Johnson attorney to gain admission in the Peace Garden State. The appointment comes as Steptoe & Johnson rapidly expands its mid-continent energy practice.
Thompson was sworn in by Crawford County, Pa., President Judge Anthony J. Vardaro acting by delegation on behalf of the North Dakota Supreme Court. The State Bar Association of North Dakota is the official organization for lawyers in that state and is the oldest state bar association in the country.

At Steptoe & Johnson, Thompson concentrates his practice on commercial transactions and oil and gas law with an emphasis on title and transactions, business law and electric cooperative law. He earned his B.A. from Allegheny College, his LL.M. from University of Exeter (UK) and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
