Steptoe & Johnson Elevates Two Members of Its Marketing Team
Swiger, Fulton assume new titles and responsibilities
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Susan S. Brewer, CEO, and Betsy Spellman, Chief Marketing Officer, of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC recently announced that Dan Swiger and Andrew Fulton have been promoted from Client Services Manager and Client Service Specialist to Marketing Director and Marketing Communications Specialist, respectively.
In his new role, Swiger will oversee the day-to-day operation of the marketing and client services department and supervise its team of employees. He will assist Spellman in setting strategic objectives for the department, and manage those activities to achieve the goals of both the department and the firm. Swiger will also coordinate marketing, business development and client service efforts, assist in the development of branding strategies, facilitate individual attorney coaching, and support client and industry teams with marketing projects.
Swiger joined Steptoe & Johnson in 2005 after serving Grafton City Hospital as the Director of Risk Management and Marketing. He is a graduate of Fairmont State University, where he earned a baccalaureate degree with a double major in Marketing and Business Administration
In his new role, Fulton will create communication programs that promote Steptoe & Johnson, its attorneys and their knowledge of specific areas of the law. He will be in charge of media relations, serving as the journalistic interface between the media and firm attorneys. To that end, Fulton will be responsible for the creation of law firm collateral materials including proposals, original articles, features, and press releases, and he will oversee the firm’s social media presence.
Fulton joined Steptoe & Johnson in 2008 after serving in similar public relations roles for University of Maryland, Dominion Resources, Virginia State Police and West Virginia University. He is a graduate of Shepherd University, where he earned a baccalaureate degree in mass communications. Fulton is a member of Generation West Virginia, North Central Young Leaders and the Legal Marketing Association.
