Morgantown, W.Va. – What are the key issues keeping employers awake at night and what should they do about them? Find out on Wednesday, October 2, when Steptoe & Johnson PLLC begins its 2013 Labor & Employment Seminar Series. The first of three one-day seminars will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown.
Members of the Steptoe & Johnson Labor and Employment law team will discuss:
- How the National Labor Relations Board is about to change the American workplace
- How to win (or lose) your employment case: wrongful discharge of an employee, the consequences and what to do
- Beyond the nuts and bolts of The Family Medical Leave Act
- Revisions to the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act
The remaining seminars will take place on October 30 in Martinsburg, W.Va. at the Martinsburg Holiday Inn and on November 22 in Beckley, W.Va. at Tamarack. All three seminars are free to registered participants and include lunch.
