Representative Experience

  • Sought contribution under CERCLA from responsible party for $100+ million environmental remediation
  • Represented gas utility in action where Pennsylvania Superior Court held en banc that utility could not be held liable for economic losses resulting from failure to mark lines under One Call Act
  • Negotiated the renewal of a FERC license for a large hydroelectric project and persuaded the WV Public Energy Authority to hold the licenses for two additional large hydroelectric projects
  • Part of team which defended natural gas company in suit alleging property contamination.
  • Defense of numerous claims of contamination of property by mineral operations.
