Energy Law ALERT: Potential OSHA Oilfield Sweep
The Ohio Oil and Gas Association recently reported that Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) officials will soon begin inspections of Ohio oilfield operations due to a recent fatality in Guernsey County, Ohio. This increased scrutiny in Ohio may cause OSHA Officials to target other states as well, so all oil and gas companies should be prepared for a potential OSHA inspection.
