Robert Everett focuses his practice in environmental law with substantial experience in process safety management, health and safety. He is the former Environmental, Health and Safety Counsel for Marathon Petroleum Company, where he provided legal counseling for process safety management, risk management planning, safety and health covering seven oil refineries as well as, transportation, storage and marketing business units. His responsibilities included standards setting, regulatory inspection preparation, management and resolution, incident investigations and auditing, capital project planning, legal training, interpretive work to convert complex legal requirements into actionable items for asset operations and bill or proposed rule review, comment and advocacy.
