Kristian J. Jamieson

Kristian counsels energy industry clients on commercial transactions, project development, and regulatory matters across the upstream, midstream, and emerging energy sectors. He has extensive experience negotiating and structuring agreements involving low-carbon natural gas projects, carbon credits and environmental attributes, land and midstream assets, and other strategic energy initiatives.

Kristian returns to the firm after more than a decade in in-house legal roles, including leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel for a leading Appalachian energy company, where he advised on strategic acquisitions, commercial transactions, and regulatory, environmental, permitting, and operational matters. He previously served as General Counsel and Compliance Director for the North American operations of a global metals recycling company, overseeing legal, compliance, environmental, employment, and corporate matters across North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

During his previous tenure with the firm, Kristian represented investors, developers, lenders, borrowers, and business owners in mergers and acquisitions, complex financing transactions, commercial real estate matters, and corporate governance.
