Seasoned Energy Attorney Anna Strange Returns to Steptoe & Johnson

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to announce that Anna Strange has re-joined the firm’s Morgantown office as Of Counsel in the Energy and Natural Resources department.

“We are happy to welcome Anna back to the firm,” said Christopher L. Slaughter, CEO of Steptoe & Johnson. “She has a long history of service in West Virginia, and her knowledge of the energy industry will be an asset to our clients.”

With over a decade of experience in energy law and mineral title and due diligence, Strange has guided clients through major real estate transactions, defended companies in civil litigation, including premises liability and personal injury disputes, and advised on FOIA and pre-litigation matters. She previously served as General Attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance and has worked with local, state, and federal government clients on sustainable development and land use.

Strange completed her law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law and her B.A. at Concordia University, St. Paul.
