Daniel W. Skidmore

Biography

Dan Skidmore has more than 45 years of experience working as a draftsman, CADD operator, designer, survey tech, engineering tech, environmental permitting specialist, computer graphic designer and illustrator, and free-lance CADD drafting and mapping specialist. In his role at Steptoe & Johnson, Dan supports the Environmental Team with both his technological and graphics capabilities. During his career, he has been able to turn his passion and creativity into a profession and he has worked for a wide variety of construction organizations, natural resource extraction firms (mining, oil and gas, timber and quarrying), civil engineering, surveying, and architectural firms, land developers, and geology firms.

Throughout his work life, he has accumulated an extensive range of work and background experience, enabling him to be very adaptable to a wide-ranging array of projects in numerous areas. He works with and is familiar with several AutoCad applications, Microstation, Carlson Survey, Photoshop, and ARCGis.
