Sydney focuses her practice on general litigation matters, assisting clients with case assessment and strategy, legal research, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and dispute resolution. She draws on her courtroom experience to evaluate legal and evidentiary issues, develop practical case strategies, and guide matters from their early stages through resolution.
Before joining Steptoe & Johnson, Sydney served as a prosecutor with the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, where she managed a high-volume docket and tried jury and bench trials. She also has experience in criminal defense, post-conviction matters, and appellate briefing.
