Steptoe & Johnson’s David Flannery, Kathy Beckett, and Armando Benincasa, along with Equinor’s Holly Hannold, spoke at the 2022 Appalachian Hydrogen & Carbon Capture Conference during a legal panel entitled, “CCUS Issues that Challenge Progress.” During the panel, they discussed the challenges facing the deployment of Carbon Capture, Usage, and Storage (CCUS) including federal and state policies, environmental justice concerns, and CCUS technological advancements.
