Jointly sponsored by West Virginia State University and the WVSU Foundation, the Black & Gold Gala is the University’s signature black-tie event to celebrate and recognize community leaders, businesses, and supporters of the place we love so dear. All proceeds from the Black & Gold Gala will support the University’s scholarships and educational programs.
The Tenth Annual Black & Gold Gala will be held April 12, 2024, 6:00 pm, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of West Virginia State University and honor distinguished community supporters: Ms. Nancy Bruns and Mr. Lewis Payne, Dr. John L. Fuller, Sr., and Ms. E. Gail Pitchford.
