Biography

Josh Korbini manages a team consisting of dozens of abstractors and attorneys who abstract, draft, and review drilling title opinions and division order title opinions for Appalachian Basin exploration and production companies. Using his strengths as a critical thinker and problem solver, Josh thrives on understanding the complexities of title associated with each piece of property and its relationship with the client’s business strategy. Having spent his entire legal career in the energy industry, Josh is skilled in all aspects of title work and understands the big-picture impact that securing and validating title has on drilling and revenue generation. Josh prides himself on resolving operational and legal questions and collaborating with litigators and business attorneys to provide comprehensive and business-minded responses.

  • Part of a team that completed more than 500 division order title opinions for publicly traded oil and gas producer
  • Conducted training for the preparation of title opinions and division order title opinions
  • Performed mineral title examinations and prepared drilling title opinions
