Steptoe & Johnson attorney will address state and local bans on energy production
DENVER – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC attorney Adam A. Veltri will serve on a select panel of energy industry insiders during the 2014 Energy Summit presented by Northern Colorado Business Report. The summit features leading voices in energy discussing the latest in exploration, production, energy policy, and strategies for company management.
Veltri will take part in a discussion titled, “Moratoria: Tomorrow’s Answers vs. Today’s Realities” where topics include the proposed statewide ban on hydraulic fracturing, property rights, and if the U.S. Supreme Court will ultimately decide if states or localities determine where energy companies may drill.
Veltri joined Steptoe & Johnson in 2013. He advises clients worldwide on energy-related transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and operational matters.
