Steptoe & Johnson Continues Texas Growth with the Addition of Christopher White, Katherine Compton, Malerie Anderson, and Michael Lilley

Dallas, TX – Christopher C. White, Katherine Compton, Malerie T. Anderson, and Michael Lilley have joined the Dallas office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. All four will be joining the firm’s Litigation Department with White, Compton, and Anderson joining as Members and Lilley joining as an Associate.

White focuses his practice on catastrophic injury and professional liability matters. His experience includes frequent trials throughout the State of Texas and beyond representing clients in cases that involve fatalities, traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, explosions, burns, amputations, severe orthopedic injuries, and multimillion-dollar life care plans. White earned his law degree from William & Mary Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma City University.

Compton has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation. This includes representing clients in trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets, franchise, banking, corporate, non-competes, class actions, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation matters. Compton earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University Law School and her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas.

Anderson is an experienced trial attorney whose practice includes trying cases to verdict in federal courts, representing companies in arbitration proceedings, and crafting defense strategies at all stages in litigation. She also has a background in general liability matters including allegations of negligent hiring, training, entrustment, and supervision, along with gross negligence in cases involving fatalities and severe burns/injuries and professional liability matters of all kinds. Anderson earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University.

Lilley has experience in complex litigation matters involving large-scale class action litigation, mass tort litigation, and general commercial litigation. Lilley earned his law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
