Steptoe & Johnson Receives Award from Institute for Energy Law

HOUSTON – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC was awarded the 2025 Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award by the Institute for Energy Law (IEL) on October 15. The award annually recognizes an organization that has contributed to advancing inclusion and increasing engagement in the energy industry or legal profession.

The IEL’s Executive Committee evaluates nominees and considers several factors when selecting organizations to receive this award including their development of programs and initiatives that foster inclusion; recruitment and retainment of diverse talent; and whether the organization produces tangible results in inclusion and engagement in the energy industry and legal profession.
