She is admitted to practice in West Virginia and Ohio, as well as in the Third and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeals and before the United States Supreme Court.
Vanessa provides guidance to clients with regard to compliance issues arising under state and federal employment laws, such as the West Virginia Human Rights Act, the Wage Payment and Collection Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, and the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act. She frequently assists employers with drafting employee handbooks and policies.
Vanessa is a talented writer and speaker and frequently authors and presents seminars to private companies, various organizations, and public institutions on a variety of employment-related subjects.
