Anthony J. Giresi

Biography

Anthony focuses his practice on providing mineral title and due diligence services to clients operating in the Appalachia Basin. His energy career began as a Landman for both public and private oil and gas production companies, where he conducted title abstracts and managed mineral title and curative teams. Anthony later joined the mineral title and due diligence team of a West Virginia-based law firm, where he drafted certified title opinions and prepared oil and gas deeds, leases, and other curative documents for clients. Anthony leverages this experience to navigate clients through the complex title and operational issues present in the Appalachian Basin.

In addition to his energy practice, Anthony routinely assists clients with their estate and trust matters. Anthony believes that, at its core, estate planning is about leaving a legacy. He advises clients on the best methods for crafting their legacy, utilizing Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, various complex Irrevocable Trusts, and charitable gift planning. He emphasizes a straightforward approach that prioritizes each client’s unique needs and minimizes the tax impacts to their estates and beneficiaries. Anthony also represents clients during the estate administration process. He guides personal representatives through the various steps of an administration and prepares necessary estate tax returns, including the US Form 706 and the Pennsylvania REV-1500 Inheritance Tax Return.
