CHARLESTON, W. Va – Armando F. Benincasa has been named Treasurer of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation (EMLF). Officers, including the Treasurer, Executive Committee and Trustee at Large members are elected annually. During his 2025-2026 term, Benincasa will work closely with the organization’s Executive team and other elected Officers on EMLF’s mission to support educational and collaboration efforts in the field of natural resource development and energy use.
Benincasa concentrates his practice on energy and environmental law and represents energy companies in matters dealing with permitting and regulatory requirements for natural resources, including coal, oil, and gas, solid waste, water resources, underground storage tanks, voluntary remediation, and the drafting of rules and statutes related to the environment.
EMLF is a national nonprofit educational organization that is committed to the study and examination of energy and natural resources topics. They are well known for their conferences and educational opportunities fostering professional development.
