Amy E. Lott

Biography

Amy Lott helps clients structure corporate transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions, mergers, private placements, joint ventures, and financings. She frequently works with privately held and venture-backed companies, private funds, banks, family offices, entrepreneurs, and individual investors.

Amy represents domestic and international clients across a broad range of industries, including software, energy, real estate, health care, banking, investment management, mining and refining, food and beverage, and manufacturing. She often serves as outside general counsel, providing strategic guidance on tax-efficient entity and transaction structuring, investment vehicles, regulatory compliance, business disputes, and day-to-day contractual, operational, and governance matters.

By leveraging her firsthand knowledge of each client’s business, Amy advises directors, executives, and business owners on proactive solutions for corporate governance issues and regulatory compliance. Clients also value her guidance throughout every stage of a deal, from conception to post-closing, which builds confidence in their decisions at each step.

Whether connecting a client with trusted financing sources or leading a carefully selected team of lawyers and business professionals to resolve a complex issue, she explores every available option to ensure clients achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively.
