Anna M. Strange

Biography

Leveraging over a decade of experience in energy law matters, Anna assists clients with mineral title and due diligence services in the Appalachian Basin. She drafts title opinions for drilling operations, conducts due diligence to evaluate the marketability of clients’ assets, and evaluates ownership of oil and gas interests and leasehold interests.

Anna has guided clients through major real estate transactions, defended companies in litigation, including premises liability and personal injury disputes, and has advised on FOIA, pre-litigation matters, and commercial transactions. Previously, she served as General Attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance. Anna has also worked in higher education and advised local, state, and federal government on sustainable development and land use in West Virginia.
