Anna M. Strange

Biography

Leveraging over a decade of experience in energy law matters, Anna assists clients with mineral title and due diligence services in the Appalachian Basin. She drafts title opinions for drilling operations, conducts due diligence to evaluate the marketability of clients’ assets, and evaluates ownership of oil and gas interests and leasehold interests.

Anna also has guided clients through major energy transactions, defended companies in litigation, including construction and business disputes, and overseeing commercial collections. Previously, she served as General Attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance. Anna also has worked in higher education and has advised on sustainable development and land use in West Virginia.
