Anne L. Frye

Anne Frye focuses her practice on electronic discovery, information governance, and the implementation of generative artificial intelligence within legal processes. She has extensive experience managing the review, identification, and analysis of electronically stored information (ESI) for clients across a range of industries. Anne serves as an administrator for Steptoe & Johnson’s in-house RelativityOne instance and is a certified Relativity Review Management Specialist. She also co-leads the firm’s Strategic Technology and E-Discovery Methods Team, where she helps develop and implement innovative, technology-driven solutions to support client needs.

Representative Experience

  • Designed and managed end-to-end document review workflows for large-scale litigation and regulatory investigations, ensuring efficiency, defensibility, and compliance with discovery obligations
  • Led cross-functional teams (including legal, technical, and vendor partners) in developing tailored review protocols, QC processes, and privilege review guidelines
  • Used analytics tools (e.g., email threading, near-duplicate detection, TAR/active learning) to prioritize documents and reduce review volumes and costs
  • Managed large-scale document review projects to aid in the identification, preservation, production, and analysis of electronically stored information
  • Identified privileged documents and drafted large-scale privilege logs for discovery compliance
  • Coordinated and managed document reviews and productions in various electronic data review platforms
