Patrick McBride

Biography

Patrick focuses his practice in energy and natural resources, assisting clients with corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactions.

While in law school, Patrick earned American Jurisprudence awards in Contracts and Corporate drafting. He was also a Moot Court distinguished speaker.

Prior to law school, Patrick spent nearly two decades as a geologist for a number of onshore U.S. energy companies. Over the course of his career, Patrick served in various technical, managerial, and executive roles – from managing large drilling budgets, mentoring cross disciplined teams, overseeing leadership cohorts, and developing high rate of return drilling projects.

Patrick’s extensive geologic and technical background and experience puts him in a unique position as an energy attorney. He has been in his clients’ shoes, which enables him to deliver high-quality results when resolving energy cases and issues.
