Rollin’ Coal is a gravel bicycle race that brings people from all over the region to Shinnston and North Central WV. The event is hosted by the West Virginia Gravel Series (WVGS), which is dedicated to the building of interest in cycling (gravel), and to attract people to explore the back roads of WV. These style events promote health, community involvement, tourism and good times in a unique region. Help us pull off one of the best events in WV! The Rollin’ Coal Gravel Race in Shinnston, WV on April 13, 2024 is the kickoff for the WV Gravel Series which has five events across the state in 2024!
