Scouting America Distinguished Citizens Dinners

Steptoe & Johnson is sponsoring Scouting America’s Distinguished Citizens Dinners. There will be two dinners for the Mountaineer Area Council, each celebrating a corporation and a local citizen. The first dinner is the North Central West Virginia Dinner on October 23, 2025, in Morgantown, WV, honoring Craig Walker and Hope Gas. The second dinner is the Upper Ohio River Valley Dinner on November 6, 2025, in Wheeling, WV, honoring Steptoe & Johnson’s Bill Wilmoth and WesBanco. For both events, the reception and silent auction kick off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program and dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Scouting America prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
