Biography

Gale Carroll focuses her practice in the area of mineral title law and complex issues involving divisions of interests for oil, gas, coal, leasehold and surface estates, including necessary curative requirements. She also has substantial experience handling commercial and residential real estate matters and litigation involving civil and criminal matters.

Representative Experience

  • Reviews title opinions to assure compliance with client needs for energy companies engaged in the shale gas plays of West Virginia and Pennsylvania
  • Represented radio entity in its purchase of a broadcasting corporation’s holdings
  • Represented a hotel developer in acquisition of acreage along I-79 corridor
  • Assisted national ministry with developing procedures and drafting bylaws
  • Drafted deeds, assignments and licenses to effectuate the conveyance and transfer of a hotel complex, parking garage and conference center
  • Served as city attorney for a central West Virginia municipality
