Biography

Manning O'Connor has more than 35 years of trial experience in Pennsylvania and several other states, both in state and federal courts. He represents businesses in a variety of problems covering all facets of employment and commercial litigation. He has helped clients with breaches of contract, harassment, and discrimination claims; non-compete/non-solicitation agreements; and trade secrets, among others. Manning also has extensive experience in the field of health care litigation. He has counseled and represented hospitals and doctors in relation to matters pertaining to licensing and credentialing, contract disputes, regulatory and patient care issues, insurance disputes, and corporate compliance. 

For 20 years, Manning served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Duquesne University School of Law.  He is a frequent lecturer at conferences and seminars on the subjects of trial evidence, employment litigation, commercial litigation, and risk management. He was appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to the Pennsylvania CLE Board, which oversees the rules and regulations for continuing legal education in the Commonwealth. He is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Tax Court.
