Crow will address hazing and how to prevent it

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Brian Crow, who holds a doctorate in higher education administration, will give the luncheon address at Steptoe & Johnson PLLC’s Higher Education Seminar on Thursday, May 23, at the Westin Pittsburgh.  Experts from the areas of law, higher education, communications, and cybersecurity will address crucial issues facing colleges and universities.  Crow will speak on hazing and hazing prevention in higher education.

Crow teaches sport marketing, budgeting, and facility sport management in the Slippery Rock University Department of Sport Management.  He is the founder of GameDay Insight, LLC and has developed guest service employee training and conducted mystery shops for several NFL and collegiate teams.

Crow has authored and co-authored textbooks, law review articles, and textbook chapters on sport-related topics.  He is also a renowned speaker on the topics of athletic hazing, marketing, and other sports topics.  He is a past president of the North American Society for Sport Management and Former Editor-in-Chief of the Sports Marketing Quarterly.

Crow earned his doctorate and master’s degree from West Virginia University and his bachelor’s degree from West Liberty State College.
