Experienced attorney added to firm’s Columbus office
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC continues to add depth to its litigation team with the addition of Brian J. Laliberte to its Columbus office. Laliberte’s practice focuses on business and commercial litigation. Laliberte has many years of experience representing companies and individuals in complex litigation, trials, and arbitration. He works with clients in litigation involving financial services, class actions, data security, white collar crime, securities, and others. He also advises clients and defends their interests in investigations by state and federal government agencies.

Throughout his career, Laliberte has worked in both large, multi-state law firms as well as in solo practice. He also served as deputy first assistant attorney general and chief deputy, Criminal Division of the Office of the Ohio Attorney General. He is an acclaimed speaker and writer on topics including e-discovery, health care fraud, employment law, and investment regulation.
He earned his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Laliberte is included among America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators and is an Ohio Super Lawyer.
