Carl Misitano Joins Steptoe & Johnson’s Pittsburgh Office

PITTSBURGH – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to announce that Carl A. Misitano has joined its Pittsburgh office as Of Counsel in the Labor & Employment department.

“Carl is a welcome addition to our growing Pittsburgh office,” said Steptoe & Johnson CEO Christopher L. Slaughter. “He brings the skills and knowledge to handle complex labor and employment matters and has built established relationships that lead to promising client development opportunities.”

Misitano has represented one of the major U.S. freight railroad operators and managed employment litigation cases across most of the states in which the company operated. In addition, he has in-depth commercial litigation experience in his diverse caseload. Prior to law school, Misitano served nine years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Misitano earned his bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and his law degree from Boston College Law School.
