BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Steptoe & Johnson is pleased to announce that Charlie Wade has joined the firm’s Bridgeport office as Of Counsel in the Energy and Natural Resources department.
“Charlie’s experience serving energy companies across West Virginia will greatly benefit Steptoe & Johnson’s energy practice,” said Christopher L. Slaughter, CEO. “His decade of industry insights coupled with his experience as in-house counsel equips him to help clients navigate complex title issues and due diligence projects.”
Wade’s practice focuses on mineral title and energy law, including drafting certified drilling title opinions for oil and gas exploration, performing title abstracts, and overseeing oil and gas leases. He joins Steptoe & Johnson after serving as in-house counsel for an energy storage operator, where he focused on all aspects of real estate due diligence activities.
Wade completed his law degree at DePaul University College of Law and his B.A. at West Virginia University.
