Perry Cavender Joins Steptoe & Johnson’s Charleston Office

Charleston, WV – Perry Cavender has joined the Charleston office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as an associate. She joins the mineral title and property practice group in the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Department.

Cavender has a background in drafting title opinions for oil and gas interests and has experience in determining ownership rights from reviewing lease, deed, and estate documents. Previously, she worked as a land analyst for a major North American energy company.

She earned her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Marshall University.
