DALLAS – Elise Norcini has joined Steptoe & Johnson’s Dallas office as Of Counsel in the firm’s Labor & Employment Department. Norcini is the 14th attorney to join the Dallas office this year.

Slaughter. “Her arrival enhances both our Dallas office and our national employee benefits practice. Her experience advising on benefit plans, fiduciary duties, and corporate transactions strengthens our ability to deliver comprehensive counsel to clients across industries.”
Norcini advises corporate, institutional, and tax-exempt clients on employee benefits and executive compensation matters. She counsels clients on qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans design, plan governance questions, plan corrections, and reporting and disclosure obligations. She also addresses issues of regulatory compliance with ERISA fiduciary and prohibited transaction rules. Her work often includes identifying and addressing benefits issues in corporate mergers and acquisitions, guiding clients through the impact to employee benefit plans during complex transactions.
Norcini earned her law degree and her LL.M. from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Wheaton College, IL.
