Biography
A significant portion of Zach Barrett’s legal practice is advising clients on matters related to mineral title. Zach also works drafting and advising on transactional projects for coal clients, as well as oil and gas exploration and production clients throughout the Appalachian basin.

Drafted documents and agreements on behalf of a coal mining company the divestiture of its "standard assets" and associated liabilities for cash consideration of approximately $325 million

Provided due diligence for multiple transactions for the divestiture of thermal coal assets in West Virginia and Virginia
