About our Office

The Lexington office opened in 2009, making it the firm’s first location in Kentucky. In April 2022, they moved into the state-of-the-art City Center office complex, right in the heart of downtown Lexington. The Lexington office, along with the Louisville office, has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky SHRM Council, Inc. for six of the past eight years.

While Lexington attorneys have always been a go-to source for the energy industry, they also regularly provide corporate counseling, employment law assistance, and commercial and general litigation support to local, state, and national businesses, including but not limited to those in the hospitality and tourism industries, regional hospital systems, banking and financial institutions, mineral development and extraction businesses, colleges and universities, national retailers, and nonprofit organizations. They also provide legal services to Kentucky’s signature bourbon industry and work on Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) licensing. Moreover, the Lexington office provides specialized local legal assistance for businesses with a presence in Eastern Kentucky.

The Lexington office is passionate about serving its community. Attorneys and staff serve on charitable and civic boards throughout the region. The firm supports, with time and monetary contributions, causes such as Step by Step, Women Leading Kentucky, American Red Cross, Fayette County Foster Care Review Board, Easterseals of the Bluegrass, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority.
