John R. Manning

Biography

John Manning advises real estate developers on complex land acquisition and entitlement issues and manages end-to-end transactions involving land purchases, commercial leasing, zoning, and land use compliance. He also counsels commercial property owners, landlords, and tenants on real estate litigation matters, including lease defaults, common area maintenance (CAM) overcharges, exclusivity violations, property damage, and title disputes in state and federal courts. John assists homeowners association (HOA) clients in drafting covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs), bylaws, and resolutions, and manages HOA litigation proceedings.

John is active in his community, serving as a volunteer attorney for the Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. He also supports the Conservation Society of San Antonio, Pride Center of San Antonio, San Pedro Playhouse, Urban Land Institute, and the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
