Bruce W. Day

Biography

Bruce Day focuses his national practice in securities litigation, representing securities firms, securities agents and individuals pursuing claims against securities agents and investment advisors for improper investment advice or unauthorized investments, as well as victims of elder abuse.

He has represented some of the nation’s largest securities firms, regional and local securities firms, as well as individual securities agents and investment advisors in Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) issues, arbitration proceedings, and state and federal court proceedings.

Bruce’s previous experience includes work within the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. and an appointment to serve as Administrator of the Oklahoma Department of Securities.

Bruce is active in his community and strives to help by engaging in public service and civic matters. He has been appointed by several Governors and confirmed by the Senate to serve on state commissions or agency boards, including most recently the Oklahoma Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability. He was a co-founder and served as Co-Chair of Project KIDS (Keep Improving District Schools). Among others, he has served as the President of Leadership Oklahoma, The Venture Forum and the Economic Affairs Breakfast Group and on the board of Leadership Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Futures, the Oklahoma Health Center Foundation and the Economic Club of Oklahoma. He was a founding member and on the board of directors of the U.S. Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Oklahoma.
